The Austin Science and Engineering Expo is a fantastic opportunity to get your students excited about science, technology, engineering and math in the world around them.
This will be the largest celebration of science and engineering in central Texas and will be a once-in-a-lifetime chance for your students to see how STEM is involved in every aspect of their lives. If you plan one field trip this year, this is the one you can't miss!
Give Extra Credit to the students who attend the Expo
Please consider giving extra credit to your students for attending the Expo. Here are some ideas to challenge your students to earn extra credit:
- The Expo map will have an area to collect stamps for completed exhibit activities. Have your students complete at least 5 exhibits to collect 5 stamps. The proof is on the map! (Ask the Exhibitor to mark/stamp the students’ Expo map so that the students can get extra credit.)
- Create your own Festival track for your students to collect stamps. On the Exhibit page, search for specific topics or universities for your class.
- Have your students create a video. Why science, engineering, math, or technology is cool!
- Have students create their own exhibits and host their own Science and Engineering Festival on your campus based on what they learned at the Austin Science and Engineering Festival Expo.
Where is the Expo located?
