The Austin Science & Engineering Festival will have a two-day Expo at the Austin Convention Center that will provide over 150 science and technology organizations from the Central Texas area. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to provide a hands-on, fun science activity that will inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. The list of exhibitors will include universities, colleges, high school science clubs, student organizations, research institutes, science outreach organizations, community organizations, professional science & engineering societies, life science and high technology companies.
While people of all ages will walk by your booth, your activity should be geared towards a 9th grade science understanding or below. We strongly recommend that you have a scientist or engineer at the booth at all times – kids love to “meet the scientist or engineer”!
The Expo will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2010 and Sunday, October 24, 2010. Set up will take place as early as Friday, October 22; and tear down will happen on the evening of October 24.
The exhibitor fee is $300. The exhibitor fee includes one 10x10 space, curtains, one table and two chairs. All exhibitors are expected to participate both days.
The exhibitor fee is subsidized by our sponsors and helps us offset the tremendous cost of putting on an event in the Austin Convention Center.
